I checked few other cases (order, invoices, entity maintenance) and all seem to work well.
A tip to ease to fix this issue is when returning parties list the words "No records found" show. So the issue is related with empty-form-data-message handling in ModelForm class. Withouth action I will revert r1765058 in few days.
