Great work Sharan,
My first recommendation as discussed into the mailing list is to integrate a build system backed up with FreeMarker. If we don't do that, then we have to repeat the code for the header, footer, and any other region that is shared among all pages. Now I'm not sure if the templates are updated or all the work is just done directly on the HTML files. If you worked directly on the HTML files then we need to create new templates altogether because the old ones are no longer relevant and should be deleted.
So it would be great if a you can give us a brief of what was done, because probably a lot needs to be cleaned up.
