I stated a requirement regarding open-end production runs in the last paragraph of my comment that isn't feasible, meaning the functionality to be able to define multiple end products.
While technically very easy to implement on the front end (screens), it would require per end product to inject one ore more specific tasks in the production run only applicable to the additional end product at the right moment in the sequence.
Plus, it would be very hard to devise a cost allocation mechanism that would cover all potential bases.
