Hi Taher,
This is not a fundamental BIRT issue. Seems that your propositions are well directed. Remains an issue: the birt to order component dependency. First idea coming to my mind: this could be optionally handled by a patch dynamicaly applied on the controllers when asking for a report (Err sounds really hacky :D). On the other hand, would it not be better to move the Order reports out of the order component and to create a birt specific webapp for those and other reports? Just shoots in the dark, there are maybe better ideas....
