As you know the OFBiz community and me have different opinions:
A. related to promoting OFBiz:
1. let the project use ofbiz itself (eat your own dogfood)
2. twitter account
3. and more
That is now solved by creating the OFBiz alliance at
http://ofbizalliance.comB. the functionality of ofbiz:
1. need a standard help system within the ofbiz system
2. need standard reporting (Birt) with a data warehouse in OFBiz
3. need a standard e-commerce
4. OFBiz should be used to develop itself with the scrum component or
project manager and not Jira.
The first three i will defend as much as i can within OFBiz, number 4
together with the project manager, scrum, cmssite and a proper tenant
implementation I have now(wil) moved to the growerp system at
http://www.growerp.com based on the trunk version of ofbiz.
So i now focus on serving our customers which get bigger and bigger, the
development of the ofbiz alliance and GrowERP and at a later stage
Growerp based on Moqui.
As i mentioned, the ofbizwebsite was just an experiment what need
improvement, was not appreciated so we stopped. It was not meant to be
perfect from the start but showing that OFBiz could be run OFBiz and
more languages would be possible. If you only want perfect new
development functions in the trunk, that would not be my idea of
working together in a community.
