Jacques, Adrian, I think I understand what you both are writing and both point of views make sense.
However I think we should elect a primary language for scripts (and this should be Groovy) for all ootb components and only use other languages when Groovy is not a good fit. Of course the framework will support other script languages, that can be used to build custom components, but the standard components should all be consistent; at the moment the primary languages should be: Minilang/Java/Groovy/UEL
