Ruth, first of all, thanks for taking the time out of your busy day to do this, but I fear that we need to call a "Time Out" and recalibrate the direction you went with your offering. There are a bunch of changes here around an agenda that I've repeatedly mentioned does not seem to be inline with what the project generally pushes for development - so let's step back and look at this requirement the way we originally discussed it - to document what we have not to change it all around.

Java 1.6 has been out for a long time and is being updated automatically by many OS so I think we're likely good as we go. Thanks for the help.

They will always run on 1.5, but they also run on 1.6

It doesn't _need_ 1.4, it's just compatible with 1.4 you can also
build and run it on 1.5 or 1.6. Still a bad idea. Have you even seen the branches / releases page which does exactly what you're asking? http://build.ofbiz.org/branches.php - take a peek because then we can stop all of this around pushing people to the 9.04 release. As I've said seemingly a million times, until the things that you said are true (IE - that you will get faster, more reliable feedback from the community on the 9.04 release), then we need to stop pushing this point. It's simply not the case.
