Managing OFBiz website with OFBiz

Erwan de FERRIERES-3
Hi Hans and all,

At the end of september, you suggested to use OFBiz to manage the OFBiz
website and also to add the multi-langage support in this new website.

I know that you have plenty of work with birt and other things, but have
you progressed on this point ?

Regards,

Have a look at:

http://ofbiz.in.th
http://ofbiz.nl

i have thai and dutch and run on the same website.

anybody who want a copy or want to supply different language files  let
me know.

No, we did not progress because the move to the apache infrastructure
has to be done first.

Regards,
Hans

I think we can easily do this once the demo servers are migrated -
which I think that they are on the infrastructure, but not the daily
updates.

Ruppert

Re: Managing OFBiz website with OFBiz

I am not sure.  We need to migrate the demo servers to the ASF infrastructure first - then we can talk about moving the ofbiz.apache.org from it's current static setup to dynamically driven from OFBiz.  I'm still waiting for people to let me know if they're using the infrastructure I built previously.  If not, then we have to migrate even less.

Cheers,
Ruppert

Re: Managing OFBiz website with OFBiz

Hi Erwan,

specially for you :-) i have committed the current ofbiz website using
the ofbiz content management component (CMS) in Dutch and Thai as we use
it here. Also as an example that OFBiz is fully capable of hosing
textual websites.

when we are awaiting the official installation on the Apache
infrastructure feel free to contribute the French translation as a patch
and sure we need the english version too.

the website allows to have different buttons in the main selection for
the different locales...

Regards,
Hans
